[Survey] Arc Survey 004

*Ding* a new notification on her computer popped up right when she walked back into her house. “What could that be?” Phoebe wiped her paws so she would get dirt all over the floor and opened the message. 

Looking for Xero volunteers!

The arc lab is always doing more research towards Xeros and now they need you. We want to learn more about your habits, abilities and actions. Of Course you will receive a small gift as a thank you for participating.

The current question we are asking is ‘if you could remove or add any mutation to yourself, what would it be and why?’

Phoebe had seen messages like this before, every now and then the arc survey would send a survey like this but she never really thought about entering. She closed the message and walked to the kitchen to start making diner. ‘What would I change about myself?’ the question kept popping in her head and she started thinking.

‘It would be cool to grow some plants on my body, saves me the walk to the garden for fresh spices’ she laughed ‘but I do love getting outside and see how my garden is doing’. After cooking diner she decided to work a bit more in her garden before it got dark. ‘Maybe an extra pair of arms or a tail, so I can hold more plants and do more things at once’ she almost dropped one of her precious succulents but caught it with her foot, ‘although that would mean more to drop and moving around is healthy’. The night came quickly and Phoebe was tired from a long day of work, so she decided to go to bed early. In bed she thought about the survey again, ‘what would I change about myself?’ She closed her eyes and started to go through all traits she knew about and trying to imagine what they would look like on her. Patagia would be fun, being able to glide around; being taller like a tundra, but then she would need to watch her head and horns all the time just like that long horned tundra she had seen walking around Torini a few times. She dozed off to sleep.

The next morning she watered her plants, made a quick breakfast and sat behind her computer. She had decided to enter the arc survey and started writing about all the things she thought about yesterday. After that she read the question again and started thinking ‘if you could remove or add any mutation to yourself, what would it be and why?’. ‘Remove a trait… I never thought about that’ she thought out loud when a drop of white goo dripped on the table. ‘Maybe I would get rid of my slimy skin trait, but I also kinda love it, it makes me me’. Well I guess that's it, she clicked the send button and a new notification appeared.
