The Gateelo is a long, eel like creature with a long powerful jaw made to catch and eat large fish. They are huge; being around 50m long in females and 33m in males. Gateeloes are fully aquatic and reside in warmer sections of the ocean where they are one of the top predators. They come mainly in shades of green thought sightings of them coming in yellow had been spotted. Gateeloes are an egg laying species and females can produce up to 100 eggs. Most of the young (called Plips) are eaten by each other or by opportunist predators and only 2-5 plips will live to reproductive age. Females are known to carry their young on their backs while hunting.
