Anniversary Party!

‘Ikko?’ Ikko turned around and looked at Bast, ‘do you want to go to the ARC anniversary party with me?’. She blushed a bit and Ikko smiled ‘ofcourse! I already assumed we’d be going together’. 

‘What to wear what to wear’, Cronus was running around his studio trying on almost every hat they had. ‘derby hat, fez, fedora, beret’ they shook their head ‘no no no that's not it’. They spotted a beautiful bordeaux red fabric with small gold details, a gasp escaped them and they knew. 

‘Pick a card, any card’ Hyde shuffled a deck of cards in his paws, almost as if the cards were dancing. Fenrir scratched his head and took a card out of the deck. ‘Alright, please show the card to the public but not to me!’ Fenrir did as instructed and showed it to all the people who had gathered around the magician. ‘Now place it back in the deck’ Hyde shuffled the cards again making it feel impossible that he'd find the correct card. Silence hit the crowd as he pulled one out of the deck ‘king of diamonds’ Fenrir tilted his head ‘nope’. Hyde laughed ‘oh I know this is just one of my favorite cards’ he then twisted the deck around to show all of them where now the same, all cards were the king of diamonds. The crowd gasped and he put a finger in front of his mouth, ‘but that's not what we’re doing here right?’ He put the deck of cards in his pouch showing his now empty hands and pointed at Fenrir, ‘could you please get that card from behind your ear’. Fenrir felt behind his left ear and there it was, the 7 of clubs. Everyone started to clap and Hyde bowd a few times ‘Thank you, thank you I'll be here all night’ as he pulled a small flask out of his pouch and took a few sips. 

‘I brought you a Ru Berry cupcake as well’ Bast handed Ikko a glass of juice and the cupcake. ‘Thank you’ she smiled and kissed Bast on the cheek. ‘Bast, long time no see!’ Cronus waved and walked towards them. ‘Oh and who is this that you have with you?’ Cronus took off their hat and bowed ‘the name is Cronus, hatter and fashion extraordinaire’. Ikko laughed ‘Ikko, uhhh Basts uhhh… girlfriend?’ Bast blushed, ‘so it's official now huh?’. ‘So Hatter how are things going? And is that a new hat I spot on your head?’ they laughed ‘ah yes, it’s fresh off the press, just made it as I like to dress to impress’. ‘Show-off’ Bast said ‘but it does look good on you’. 

‘Tag you're it’ Myst ran around the crowds playing with other young Xeros and guests at the party as they almost ran into a blue Xero holding two classes of punch. ‘Woh be careful little one’ the big xero laughed ‘want something to drink, it's important to hydrate’ Myst carefully took the drink ‘thank you, uh’... ‘Anubis’ the Xero answered, nice to meet you. Myst shook his paw ‘Myst’ they laughed and quickly drank the punch. ‘You never saw me!’ they yelled as they gave the glass back and ran away. 

The party lasted till late in the night or maybe you could even say early the next day. Some met new friends and others found old ones they hadn't seen in a while. But it's safe to say that it was a fun party and an amazing anniversary.
