Submission (#5408) Approved

Been a while since I submitted one of these! Despite it being a bit, I've still been collecting my water bottles I use in plastic bags and having someone in the house assist me in taking them to be recycled for me. I've found it interesting to really see how many water bottles I typically use; even though I can see how many I have in the cases of water I buy in the grocery store, it doesn't really hit me how much it actually is until I see a bunch of them empty all piled up in bags. Because of this, I've been learning to be more mindful of how much waste I accumulate in other areas- for example, I've been using reusable tupperware more often to store leftovers rather than just blowing through a bunch of Ziplocs that just get thrown away in the end. I've still been reusing my plastic shopping bags too! I store them and use them as trash bags for my little waste basket in my room. It saves me more money and gives the bags a second use.
