We have some postal services here that let you deliver packages in a 24/7 available lock box near you. Recently I decided to let my packages be delivered there instead of at my home. This option is the greenest choice (also recommended for that by them) since the delivery driver can drop of many packages in one spot and doesn't have to drive to all the separate homes.
+ If I'm not home I can pick it up at a for me convenient time so they dont have to try and deliver multiple times
