The last thing we try to do is look for opportunities to Reuse, especially glassware. I reuse glass bottles and jam jars for drinking from or storing food, and whenever our take-away food comes to us in those standard-sized deli containers, we rinse those out and re-use them. Deli plastic containers and glass jam/pasta/pickle jars can both be recycled when we're finished with them, or need to make space in the cupboards again.
