X-020: Nolt

Ever since his first day outside of the tube. Nolt has been a Xero that wants to help others. Even to the risk harm on himself. When he was first getting used to being alive, he tried to catch a knife that a Alurizan had dropped. Catching it safely, Nolt was then lectured by the Alurizan. The reoccurring insult "Dolt" sounded good to him. When he choose he name, he insisted on Dolt, until the Alurizans shot him down. He then changed a D to an N. While all the other Xeroes moved on, Nolt continued to insist. After much counseling and a loving mentor, they gave in, allowing him the name.

Ecstatic, Nolt went about the first part of his life living in the lab that created him. There was no end to the trouble he caused. Getting in the way of danger, risking his life for small things the other Xeroes had. It wasn't until a group of rescuers saved him after falling off of a fifteen story building that he changed his mind about staying in the lab. The Alurizans would find him in his room, playing pretend, rescuing others from giant tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and making daring runs into caves.

On a completely different note, Nolt repetitively asked the researchers to find the rescuer that saved him. Annoyed and distracted from their work, they asked for Omiris a noteworthy Rescuer. To speak to the young creature about staying safe.

Omris, who that this was going just for that found the experimental organism begging her for a chance to be a rescuer. Stunned, Omris agreed.

The researchers were sent into panic. They told Omris about the dangers of an experimental joining a high-stress team, The fragility of its new body, its unknown behaviors, they even resorted to saying it was a waste of resources. All of which were concerns Omris ignored.

Thus started Nolt as a rescuer. Learning the ins and outs of the trade. He has plenty of trials to overcome, but there couldn't be something more suited to who he is.

Nolt is a very busy Xero, generally in some sort of training program. He is full of energy, probably because of the amount of spicy ramen that he eats. When he does have time off, he can be seen wondering through the city, understanding all of the different sites and smells the Oasis has to offer. While he doesn't actively seek out interaction, he is always willing to talk and have a nice laugh with whoever comes his way.
